Q: Do You Refinish Existing Wood Floors?

May we recommend two people Walter at Atlas Flooring (619-299-9695), or Ismael at IR Hardwood (619-917-5788). You can find both of these companies over on Yelp.

Q: Do you guys do Free Estimates?

A: Thank you for your inquiry, we have two options for you in respect to getting an estimate for your project.

Option # 1

We schedule an appointment for a floor decor consultation (with measure of course). There is a fee involved which is fully refundable upon any purchases that you make. The fees vary from as little as $25 to as high as $150 depending on the areas and the type of help that you need and or the location (geographical) of the project. If you can provide me with a good phone number to reach you at I would be more than happy to call and discuss which fee would apply to you.

This is money well spent because you are getting your measurements, great advice (layout, floor decor advice, floor types, etc..) and a very detailed estimate (emailed to you) that breaks everything down line by line. Allowing us to see you’re home can be very beneficial to both parties because it allows us to make great suggestions back in the store (when you come in) as to what colors and styles will work well with your existing decor. No product samples are brought to the consultation/measure appointment.

Option # 2

You visit our beautiful show room which is open seven days a week (Store hours on website). We have a very friendly, non-pushy and knowledgeable staff. We enjoy giving people good advice and good flooring decor options. Please bring your rough square footage and MOST IMPORTANTLY try to bring with you any key elements such as paint/wall color, cabinet drawer or door, counter top, photos, etc… this will help make the trip to the show room very effective versus the traditional way of coming in empty-handed looking at product, asking to borrow it (very strict policy with deposit charged to a credit card required) taking it home and realizing the colors don’t work with your colors. While in the store we can build you a rough estimate (Great ballpark) using your rough square footage based on any products that you like. Note: upon visiting our show room if you find a product that you really like we will then schedule an appointment (upon request) to measure your project and provide you with an estimate without charging the measure fee unless you live north of the 56 or east of the 67 freeway then the measure fee is $75.

Q: Where should I park?

A: Flooring Creations has curbside parking along our storefront and additional reserved parking in a lot directly behind our building.
